Moana Sands
has just finished an extensive refurbishment and upgrade program
on their 12 existing Beachfront Superior Rooms with all rooms now
featuring new beds, curtains, bedspreads, fittings, paintwork and
artwork. We have also added 5 brand new Beachfront Suites on a
newly constructed top floor. These offer spacious, contemporary
living in a relaxing décor.
The recently renovated 12
Beachfront Superior Rooms and 5 new Beachfront Suites offer
fantastic views of the sparkling blue lagoon and the white sand
beach is literally just steps from your door. All of our guest
rooms and suites are self-contained with a small kitchenette and
are air-conditioned for your comfort.
 This small, privately
owned hotel is located on a pristine marine reserve -- Rarotonga's
premier swimming and snorkeling beach
near the village of Titikaveka on the stunning south coast of
Rarotonga.
Here the soft sand of the 10km beach is so white
that you can walk on it without shoes or sandals - even in the
heat of the day. And there is every chance that at 8 am
yours will be the first footprints.
Here the lagoon is
azure blue, sheltered, deeper, safe, reef protected and teeming
with colorful tropical, harmless fish life. A true
snorkeler's dream come true!
The hotel is located absolute
beachfront - each of the 12 rooms enjoy the same magical panoramic
lagoon view and are a mere 15 steps from the beckoning
lagoon.
Our two Villas are also beachfront and located 100
meters along the beach - or along the quiet road - a pleasant
stroll to join in the hotel activities - or the choice to stay
isolated, relaxed and self contained.
The hotel cafe
and bar is for guests only and serves delicious dinners, thrice
weekly in a dinner party atmosphere and hearty breakfasts
daily. On those magical tropical nights we tend to eat by
candlelight on the beach under the stars or on the hotel
lawn.
